Disclaimer

Liability for content

As a service provider we are responsible according to § 7 paragraph 1 of TMG for own contents on these pages under the general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored foreign information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. However, a relevant liability is only possible from the date of knowledge of a specific infringement. Upon notification of such violations, we will remove the content immediately.

Liability for links

Our site contains links to external websites over which we have no control. Therefore, we cannot accept any responsibility for their content. The respective provider or operator of the linked websites is always responsible for their content. We checked the linked sites for possible violations of law at the time of linking, and no illegal content was found. It is unreasonable to exercise permanent control over the linked pages without concrete evidence of a violation. If we receive notification of violations, we will remove the links immediately.

Copyright

The contents and works on these pages created by the site operator are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright require the written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of these pages are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. As far as the content is not created by the website operator, the copyrights of third parties must be respected. Third-party content will be clearly labeled as such. If you become aware of any copyright infringement, please notify us immediately. Upon receiving notification of any violations, we will promptly take action to remove the infringing content.

Privacy Policy

It is usually possible to use our website without providing personal information. If we do request personal data (such as name, address, or email address), it will be on a voluntary basis. This data will not be forwarded to any third parties without your consent.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating via email) may have security gaps. It is not possible to completely protect data against access by third parties. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the “https://” and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.

The use of the contact data, published within the framework of the imprint obligation, by third parties for sending unsolicited advertisements and information materials is expressly prohibited. The operators of the website reserve the right to take legal action in case of unsolicited promotional information, such as spam emails.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

We collect your name, email address and a personal message when you use a contact form. TypeFox employees will use it to answer your inquiry. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by sending us an informal email.

Server Log Files

Our hosting provider (Netlify, Inc., USA) automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your web browser transmits to us (e.g. browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, time of request, IP address). This data is collected to ensure technical operation and security, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This site is currently not using any cookies to store your data.

Embedded content from other websites

We embed videos from Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA). When you load a page with a video, a connection to Vimeo's servers is established and your IP address is transmitted. We use Vimeo's “Do Not Track” parameter, meaning Vimeo will not set analytics or tracking cookies. However, technically strictly necessary cookies are still set to ensure secure operation and prevent bots.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting engaging video content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). International data transfers to the US are safeguarded by Vimeo's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we retain your data

When you send a contact request, the message and its metadata are retained only for as long as necessary to process your inquiry, provided there are no overriding legal retention obligations.

What rights you have over your data

If you have sent a contact request on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we rectify, restrict the processing of, or erase your personal data. You have the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Data submitted via a contact form is sent to a Netlify server and then forwarded as email. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy to understand how they handle your data. We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Netlify, and international transfers are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
